Reminder

Please read the letter inviting you to join ClassDojo.  It is a great tool that we will use in the classroom and the students enjoy seeing how they do each day.  Students will be active in assigning their + and - points throughout the day as well.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns. 

 

 

2016-2017 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration for the 2016-2017 school year will take place on August 1, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our staff members (nurse, lunchroom supervisor, bus personnel, etc) will be in attendance to answer all of your questions. Please refer to the August 2016 newsletter for more information and requirements. Any registrations made after August 1st will require an appointment which can be made by calling our office at 815-722-6673. Thank you for your cooperation.

White Oak Library Visit

All Junior High students will be participating in a Field Trip to visit the New Library facilities.  Permission slips went home on Tuesday November 12  and are due back Thursday November 14.  There is no cost for the trip. Lunch will be at school on the field trip day.  All information is on the permission slip.  Thank you for you support.

Thank you parents for such support and all your efforts.  The Parent/Teacher Conferences were well attended.  Much information about how to best educate your children was shared.  Looking ahead to a fantastic rest of the year.  Remember to check the school monthly newsletter for information.  If you are not on parent connect, use the password and login given to you in the yellow folder at registration.  Keep up to date with you child's progress when you can.

Hello Everyone! Just a note to let you know what is happening in the Reading Room.  The eighth graders will begin a novel study.  They will be reading the novel titled Across Five Aprils.  The seventh graders will begin working on a project for a book talk.  The sixth graders will begin literature circles.  The students will be responsible for working on these activities in class and at home.  Most of the studies and projects will take us through the rest of the quarter.  Look at your child's pl

Reminders Week of September 30, 2013

Conference dates and times will be sent home in a letter on Tuesday October 1st. Progress reports went home last Friday, September 27th.   All report card envelopes are due back.  3 Fundraisers are currently in the works:  8th grade trip, Band and Choir, and a Yankee Candle fundraiser for PTO.  Watch for the return dates on these fundraisers.  Thank you for all the support and time you give to your children.  Happy fall.
